Stephanie Needleman is Legal Director at JUSTICE, where she leads on all legal and policy development. She studied Economics and Social and Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge before converting to law and qualifying as a solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. After practicing in the Dispute Resolution team, she pursued a Master’s in Human Rights Law at LSE. Stephanie went on to work as a Judicial Assistant to Lord Clarke and Lord Toulson at the UK Supreme Court, before joining the Public Law team at DAC Beachcroft LLP. There, she advised public sector clients on a broad range of legal issues. She has also represented appellants in the Asylum Support Appeals Tribunal and interned at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Her expertise spans human rights, administrative law, and public interest litigation.
