Freedoms, Rights and Protest: JSHRN Annual Human Rights Conference 2011
This event, for law students, trainee solicitors and pupil barristers, considered topical issues relating to the rights to freedom of religion, expression and assembly. Speakers included Baroness Helena Kennedy QC, Mark Stephens, Louise Christian, Sarah McSherry, Suzanne Lambert, Paul Yates and Sara Chandler. These speakers provided a unique insight into litigation in this field, while JUSTICE policy staff will lead focused breakout sessions to study the relevant law in more detail.
