International law
In addition to the its obligations under the European Convention on Human Rights, the UK is party to a significant number of other human rights instruments, including the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the International Covenant on Economic Social and Cultural Rights, the Torture Convention and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
JUSTICE’s work encompasses all these instruments and the more general obligations that the UK has under international human rights law and international humanitarian law.
