2008
The winners of the 2008 awards (presented in conjunction with Liberty and the Law Society) were:
- Timothy Otty QC – Human Rights Lawyer of the Year Award
- Corner House Research – Human Rights Award
- Ajanta Kaza – Peter Duffy Award
In addition, a Special Judges' Award was presented to Diane Abbott MP
2007
The winners of the 2007 awards (presented in conjunction with Liberty) were:
- Shaheed Fatima – Human Rights Lawyer of the Year Award
- Kids Company and INQUEST – Human Rights Award (joint winners)
- Maya Evans – Peter Duffy Award
The judges also presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to Lord Lester of Herne Hill QC
