JUSTICE relies on the support and assistance provided by interns. We have an established internship programme, taking place in the summer and winter each year.

Internships at JUSTICE

We offer at least three places each year on our summer internship programme and three on our winter programme.

Interns undertake in-depth legal research in a particular area of JUSTICE's work. For this reason we are now seeking applications from law graduates only. This includes people who expect to have completed a law degree or conversion course by the time they start their internship. In exceptional cases, we will consider applications from non-law graduates can demonstrate in their application that they have relevant knowledge/experience equivalent to a degree.

JUSTICE interns gain the opportunity to develop skills and experience of working on important areas of legal policy at a national level as well as the chance to be part of a small, friendly and committed staff. Interns may also be required to undertake some administrative work.

Our summer internship programme runs between June and September and winter programme between January and February each year. Successful applicants must commit to working for a minimum of 4 days per week, between 10am - 5pm for at least one month.

Expenses incurred by interns while working at JUSTICE are refunded. This covers the cost of travel expenses within London, £3.00 per day for lunch, plus approved incidental expenses.

The deadline for the summer 2010 programme has now closed.

We will be inviting applications for the winter 2011 programme later on this year so please check back then for details of how to apply.
